-Judging is based on 3 equal categories.
-1/3 Interview on 08/02/2008
-1/3 Swimsuit
-1/3 Evening Gown

Judging criteria:  fitness, modeling, personality, and beauty, charm, and fashion sense.

Face of the World USA 2009 titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise, and elegance.  Judges are not evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate's on-stage presentation. Evening gown must be floor length.

 

*DEADLINES TRAVEL. 

Contestants must make their own travel arrangements. They must arrive on July 29, 2009 by 12pm at the International airport in Memphis. Hotel and food expenses will be paid by Coordinator; will be two contests to a room. Friends and families must make their own hotel reservations.

Face of the World USA 2009 Contract

1.         If selected as a Face of the World USA 2009 winner, delegate agrees to sign a contract stating agreement to arrange and make a minimum of 6 appearances throughout her year’s reign. Appearances may include but are not limited to parades; radio, television and newspaper interviews; and events benefiting The International Children’s Heart Foundation.

2.         The Face of the World USA Pageant winner will commence immediately after crowning and will end immediately following the crowning of their successor.

3.         Face of the World USA Pageant titleholders agrees to make monthly contact with organizer of the event by phone, letter, fax or e-mail.

4.         Face of the World USA Pageant titleholder agrees that they will not enter any other pageant or compete for any other titles during her year’s reign without the prior written permission from Organizer Face of the World USA Pageant. Will be a considered on case-by-case basis.

5.         Out of town winners agree to attend the next year’s pageant to crown their successors.  Winners’ travel, lodging, and meal expenses will be arranged for and paid by Face of the World Coordinator.

 

STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT:

Publicity and Promotion.

By virtue of participation in the Face of the World USA 2009 Pageant, delegate agrees to allow Organizer the right to use her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion now and in the future. Delegate understands that her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information may be used on the Internet, in print advertising, press releases and merchandise related to the Face of the World USA 2009 Pageant (e.g., t-shirts, tote bags, hats, other apparel, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.)  Delegate agrees to waive any and all compensation for use of her name, likeness, voice, and /or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion.
By submitting the entry form to Face of the World USA 2009 Pageant, delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations. Delegate attests that all information submitted to Organizer, Is true and accurate.
